Death in lodges: When love zone turns into crime scene

In Busia, a 55-year-old taxi driver, Muhammad Mukungu died inside Mwesigwa Guest House in Kisenyi A village during sexual intercourse. He checked into the lodge with one woman companion until 11:00pm, when he escorted her back. He subsequently picked another woman friend to spend the remainder of the night with, but he tragically died during their extended act of intimacy.

Nansana Inn Rest House in Wakiso district, where Godwin Kansiime and a ‘killer’ woman had checked in. Kansiime was allegedly murdered in the rest house and his body dumped in Kakiri, where it was recovered on September 3, 2023.
