Construction of the auditorium at Speke Resort Convention Centre in final stages

Construction of the state-of-the-art 4,400 seater auditorium at Speke Resort Convention Centre is progressing as planned, Sudhir Ruparelia, the chairman of Ruparelia Group told Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja.

Nabbanja was attending the 3rd Integrated Transport Infrastructure and Services Services Program review workshop at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Nabbanja was pleased with the construction of this facility which is in the final stages of completion.

Construction of the Convention Centre is set to be completed in time for the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) scheduled for January 2024 in Kampala, Uganda.

 

The facility is being developed by Ruparelia Group in collaboration with the Uganda Development Corporation (UDC).

Sudhir assured the Prime Minister that everything on the ongoing construction of the facility is moving on well as planned.
