Just before MC Mazinga came on stage, the performers came carrying a ‘dead body’ and threw it on the stage. The 'body' stood up by itself and started limping on stage as it followed one of the actors who held a control stick.

On Saturday, April 27, hundreds of guests headed to Forest Resort, Lweza on Entebbe Road for the third edition of The Best of MC Mazinga by MC Mazinga of Bukedde TV's Full Doze programme.

At around 8:00pm, the road that leads to the resort began to get congested with cars as the parking lot was filled.

The first session began with performances from upcoming artistes from Lweza. Later, Worship House pastor Wilson Bugembe drove the masses wild as he performed his gospel songs.

As he promised during a press conference held at Forest Park Resort on April 23, 2024 MC Mazinga. real name Thomas Kisitu, had some surprises up his sleeve for the guests. He had raised eyebrows in 2023 when he appeared on stage while being carried in a casket.

Just before MC Mazinga came on stage, the performers came carrying a ‘dead body’ and threw it on the stage.

The 'body' stood up by itself and started limping on stage as it followed one of the actors who held a control stick. It was later led off the stage to pave way for the main act - Mazinga.

At around 12:00am, Mazinga began with a play about cannibalism among some tribes in Uganda and Africa at large.

Mazinga and other actors wore traditional clothes, for example, the barkcloth and African craft sandals as they performed.

Right after the play, Mazinga sang a remix of Nkooye by the late Philly Bongoley Lutaaya.

Other performers included Mesach Semakula, Amooti Omubalanguzi and Mary Heart Tumbetu.
