Hundreds are gathered in Kampala for the funeral service of the retired Bishop of Mukono diocese, Prof. Michael Ssenyimba who passed away on Tuesday at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
Mourners gathered at St. Paul's Cathedral Namirembe include several bishops of the Church of Uganda.

Born in 1937, the retired bishop who died aged 86 served as the second Bishop of Mukono diocese from November 1995 to June 2002 after Bp. Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo (RIP) learnt about Ssenyimba’s demise through the serving bishop, Enos Kitto Kagodo at around 9:00pm.
Vigil will be held tonight St. Philip and Andrew’s Cathedral in Mukono diocese ahead of the last funeral service on Friday morning at 10:00am, at the same venue.
