Never get discouraged by the words of man.
Nehemiah 4:3
Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”
🤷♀️Ridicule can cut deeply, causing discouragement and despair.
When you are mocked for your faith or criticized for doing what you know is right, refuse to respond in the same way or become discouraged. Tell God how you feel and remember his promise to be with you. This will give you encouragement and strength to carry on.
🧎♂️ PRAYER
Almighty God, You are so faithful. We pray that You enable us to close our ears to all words of discouragement around us but listen to Your voice and have faith in Your good plans for us. We put all our endeavours before You and seek Your approval and guidance. Thank You for never forsaking us amongst the ridicule and discouragement by our fellowman. Amen
