Bank blocks Kumi diocese accounts over debt

The debt is from a court case that the diocese lost in 2019, over a land dispute. It is reported that the leadership, then headed by Bishop Thomas Edison Irigei (RIP), borrowed money from Francis Opolot to help them during the land case that the diocese battled with a section of Christians.
