322 warriors arrested, 57 guns recovered in Karamoja disarmament exercise
The deputy defence spokesperson, Lt. Col. Ronald Kakurungu said some of the guns were handed in voluntarily by various warriors, while others were recovered forcefully through different operations.
Kakurungi revealed that 350 rounds of ammunition were also recovered during the operations.

A total of 57 guns have so far been recovered through the disarmament programme in the Karamoja region, the Uganda People Defence Force (UPDF) has revealed.
