Ggoobi said the expanded budget will be injected into strategic sectors considered critical to monetising the economy, particularly agriculture, industry, services, digital innovation, and market expansion, that directly contribute to productivity, job creation and wealth generation.
Ggoobi said the draft budget estimates are expected to be submitted to Parliament by April 1, 2026, in line with the Public Finance Management Act.
