 GOLDEN JUBILEE 

Today, Thursday (August 24) is 50 years since President Yoweri Museveni and his wife Janet Kataaha wedded at Turnham Green Church, England in 1973. 

As part of their Golden Jubilee celebrations, the New Vision put together a souvenir magazine as testimony of admiration and support.

It will be available free of charge in your copy of Saturday Vision (August 26).

According to Hilary Bainemigisha, who was intimately involved in its production, the special glossy magazine is a product of research and scanning of past intimate events involving the President and the First Lady.

“We wanted it to be a special surprise.

"We thank the children who agreed not to tell them and gave use pricy and rare pictures that tell a full story of the golden journey," he said.

"The children also agreed to appraise their parent’s golden performance. We have given the magazine our best that is deserving for our golden leaders. Miss it at your own peril."

Bainemigisha is the resident counsellor on love relationships under the Dr Love column, said.
