Schools urged to add green vegetables on learners’ menu

Amaranth grain is very nutritious with protein levels of up to 12% compared to other cereals such as maize that has only 8%

In the bid to improve nutrition, school heads have been urged to incorporate green leafy vegetables such as Amaranth–dodo on the learners’ menu.
