Quality Chemical Industries Limited (QCIL) is today (October 08, 2025) celebrating 20 years of manufacturing medicine and launch of the new quality control Laboratory and paediatric HIV/AIDS medicine at its factory in Luzira, Kampala.
The event has brought together people from the medical world, the central government and the Buganda Government.
The company has also broken ground for a new 28,000-square-metre state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, with dreams of expanding into new therapeutic areas, like production of Tuberculosis (TB) and injectable medicines (injectable HIV drug).
