Over 150 trained to counter vaccine hesitancy

The vaccination champions were trained under a two-month pilot project in five sub-counties around Wakiso district.

The Makerere University-based Infectious Disease Institute (IDI) has trained 157 community champions to address bottlenecks that are influencing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among Ugandans.
