Nganwa became one of the strongest school teams in the late 90s and early 2000s when they represented Uganda at the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) games in Nairobi in 2002 where they won a silver medal after losing 3-1 to hosts Bokoli SS of Kenya.
