New nurses’ council tasked with eliminating absenteeism
The minister said health workers who abandon their duties not only affect the quality-of-service delivery but also increase the cost of healthcare at the public health centres.

The state minister of health in charge of general duties, Hanifa Kawooya, has tasked the new governing body of the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) with devising ways of
