Missing testicles in newly born boys: Why parents discover late

Undescended testicles are a congenital condition in which a male child is born with one or both testicles not located in the scrotum at birth, Dr Nasser Kakembo, a senior paediatric consultant and surgeon at Mulago National Specialised Hospital in Kampala, said.

The testicle is usually trapped in the abdomen and will need to be surgically moved into position.
