Uganda launches first ever National Lottery

Ithuba Uganda, a subsidiary of Ithuba South Africa was recently granted a ten-year licence to operate Uganda’s national lottery. Ticket sales for the lottery commenced on June 1 with the first draw expected in a week.

Ithuba Uganda, the operators of Uganda’s national lottery are expected to generate up to sh147b in annual revenue to the government over the next ten years.
