On the evening of Sunday, January 28, 2024, the Legends Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala witnessed an electric atmosphere as football enthusiasts and partygoers gathered for the highly-anticipated grand finale of Smack League Season 6.

In an exhilarating showdown, the Zimbaz Class of 2006 secured a triumphant 3-2 victory over the Tsunamiz, sending waves of excitement and celebration through the enthusiastic crowd.

Marking their first-ever championship win, the Zimbaz showcased an outstanding performance, rising from the 19^th position to claim the top spot in the league.

The managing director of Uganda Breweries Limited, Andrew Kilonzo, presented them with the well-deserved trophy on behalf of the league's sponsor, Guinness.

"The major win from The Zimbaz, Class of 2006, is the highlight of tonight. Their commitment and hard work have paid off, and we celebrate their extraordinary story of success," expressed Roy Tumwizere, Guinness brand manager.

Following the prize-giving ceremony, the festivities continued with a diverse lineup of entertainment.

Janzi Band set the stage ablaze with a musical journey, delivering a mix of reggae, dancehall, and contemporary RnB hits that had the audience dancing with joy.

The energy soared to new heights when singer Winnie Nwagi took the stage, captivating the audience with performances of her chart-topping songs, including Amaaso, Take It Slow, Fire Dancer, Chekecha, Matala, and the recent sensation, Okubye Nyo.
