XFM, Vision Group’s leading youth radio station, lit up New Nana Hostel with its first-ever hostel bash, a vibrant brand engagement and awareness campaign tailored for university students.

 

The #XFMHostelBash brought music, games, giveaways, and unforgettable performances to the heart of campus life, marking the launch of a nationwide university tour designed to give back to XFM’s youthful audience.

 

The night was electric, with a lineup of campus-favourite entertainers including Tracy Melon, Acidic Vokoz, DJ Ali Brezzy, Adam Vybes, DJ Crim, and DJ Denzel, who kept the energy soaring. From balconies to the dance floor, students vibed to the beats, turning the hostel into a pulsating hub of sound and celebration.

 

The highlight came when Acidic Vokoz stormed the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Students sang, danced, and cheered as the performance transformed the hostel into a festival of music and colour.

 

Adding to the excitement, Uganda’s first Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) audio and wearables brand, Black, rewarded lucky winners with premium headphones, while Pepsi kept the crowd refreshed. Interactive games, ranging from quizzes to dance-offs and sing-along contests gave students more chances to win goodies and stay engaged.

 

With its mix of good vibes, fun, and non-stop entertainment, the #XFMHostelBash was more than just a party, it was the beginning of a movement. XFM has set the tone for a memorable university engagement tour that will continue to connect with young audiences across Uganda.
