The Toto Christmas Festival 2025 has brought an exciting opportunity for young artists to showcase their creativity and imagine the future of mobility like never before.
CFAO Mobility Uganda has once again opened doors for children to participate in the 19th edition of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, an event designed to spark imagination and inspire the next generation of innovators.

The contest has taken centre stage at the Toto Children’s Festival 2025, hosted this Sunday, December 7, at the Kampala Parents’ School playground in Naguru, Kampala.
A celebration of creativity
The 19th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is more than just a competition; it is a platform for children to explore their dreams and share their ideas about the future. Children under the age of 15 are picking up paints, pencils and crayons to create artwork envisioning the future of transportation.
From flying cars to eco-friendly vehicles, the possibilities are endless, and young minds are encouraged to think beyond the limits of today.
According to Innocent Ziraba, the tender expert at CFAO Mobility Uganda (Toyota by Corporation for Africa Overseas), the prestigious competition aims to ignite the creative potential of young minds while contributing to the future of mobility.
“By encouraging children to think creatively about the future of mobility, we are planting the seeds for tomorrow’s innovations,” he says.

“This is not just an art contest; it is a way for children to shape the world of tomorrow.”
Categories for all ages
The contest is open to children in three age categories: seven years and under; eight to eleven years; and 12 to 15 years. Each age group brings a unique perspective, allowing participants to express their creativity according to their age and skill level.
The top three winners in each category will not only receive school fees worth sh2m, but will also earn the prestigious opportunity to represent Uganda in the World Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.
This year, it is not only about national prizes; it is about global recognition. Winners will compete with talented young artists worldwide for a chance to win $5,000, while their schools will receive a grand prize of $10,000. Six runners-up in each category will also take home $3,000 as a reward for their effort and creativity.
Encouraging future innovators
For Isaac Tegule, the marketing manager at CFAO Mobility Uganda, the contest offers a chance to witness how children are already imagining the world of tomorrow.

Speaking about this year’s edition, Tegule expressed his excitement at the impressive level of creativity displayed by Ugandan participants.
“This contest is a celebration of young minds and their ability to imagine a better future. We are incredibly proud of all the participants and the talent they have showcased. It is inspiring to see how Ugandan children are thinking about the future of mobility in such innovative ways,” he said.
A fun day for the whole family
The Toto Christmas Festival 2025 is proving to be a fun-filled day for parents and children alike. For only sh10,000, families can enjoy a variety of exciting activities and performances, all while supporting children’s fun, educational and creative growth.
The festival is proudly sponsored by Ruparelia Group, Sumz, NIRA, Toyota, Pepsi and Indomie, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.
What’s at stake?
The national winners of the 19th edition of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest will not only win substantial prizes but will also carry Uganda’s flag to the world competition.
Even those who do not make it to the top will receive exciting prizes such as shopping vouchers, shirts and bags. The festival will also award cash prizes worth sh3m and several additional gifts.
