Gombe Education Service, one of the sponsors of the Toto Christmas Festival 2023, is cognizant of the fact that without parents, there would not have been a great event Sunday at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

“We are proud to have been sponsors of the Toto Christmas Festival and we thank the parents for the great turn up shown here today. We also thank all the parents that visited our stall. We have been so happy to interact with you, and we thank you for your feedback,” Ruth Nabuuma, a teacher in the department of Marketing and Promotions at the school said.

She added that the school is open for a physical tour and interviews. “We are open from Monday to Saturday starting 8:00am to 4:00Pm,” she explained.

According to her, Gombe is a consortium of five schools that include SCOOBY Doo International School Uganda in Seguku-Katale, Gombe Junior schools in Kikajjo Nateete along Nakawuka Road, Gombe High schools - Kawaala Campus and Bujuuko Compass and the Jimmy Sekasi Business Institute in Kabalagala.

Yvonnie Nansinguza, the Head of Marketing at Gombe Education Service, says taking your child to Gombe is the wisest decision a parent can make in 2024.

“When you come to our schools, expect your child to develop holistically, because we incorporate extra-curricular activities in our curriculum. We strive to develop children's talents in all aspects for example art and craft, piano and guitar-playing, Music Dance Drama (MDD), and sports,” she said.

She further emphasised the fact that some of the sporty activities that the school promotes include pure netball and volleyball teams, plus soccer academies.

“We also have international partnership and exchange programmes, through which our students engage with those in other countries like India to participate in quizzes, debates, spelling bees, to mention but a few,” she said.

Meanwhile, Nabuuma, who was excited to be at the Toto Festival, encouraged parents to check out their schools. “Our students also have a chance to explore the world through our international tours. I can confirm that a group of our students are currently in Dubai for a week to explore the world outside,” she said.

The schools have well-trained and caring staff, with a special touch towards all their students.
