The Christmas spirit is in the air. Children are wrapping up the end of another academic year, and their parents are thinking about how to spend the festive season with their families.

It is on this note that Vision Group’s Toto Christmas Festival takes centre stage as the place to be on December 7th at Kampala Parents Playground.

Having teamed up with sponsors who have generously given their portion, the Toto Magazine team promised children in schools a day filled with fun, laughter and happy memories.

The sponsors are Indomie Instant Noodles Uganda, Pepsi, Toyota Uganda and Ruparelia Group.

At Good Times Infant School, Kawaala, Grace Nampiima (Toto Magazine editor) and her team lit up the school when she greeted and asked them to attend the Toto Christmas Festival.

In response, the children thunderously acquiesced with a loud: “YEEEEEEESSSSSSS!”

“We are going to enjoy an early Christmas at Toto Christmas Festival. We will have a talent search, where you can win as much as sh 500,000,” said Nampiima.

In addition to the cash prizes, one of the sponsors has given children an opportunity to win big—really big.

Toyota Uganda has urged children to participate in the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, which tasks them to draw the car of their dreams.

As explained by Toyota Uganda’s marketing and events coordinator, Patricia Cathy Tusuubira, the competition allows children to draw the car of their wildest dreams. She said the car does not have to be one they have seen before as it can be a figment of their imagination, and one that does marvellous things—one that gives hugs, plants trees or turns rubbish into oxygen.

Tusuubira highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting young children through the global art contest, which started in 2004.

After drawing the dream cars, the children should submit their drawings and entry form and send them to dreamcar.ug@cfao.com or any CFAO Mobility branch countrywide by February 27, 2026.

There will be three categories: one for seven years and below; eight to 11 years; and the third is 12 to 15 years.

At only sh 10,000 per child at the entrance, and free for parents and guardians, the Toto Festival is clearly the place to be on December 7th at Kampala Parents School Playground.
