“PVC panels are easy and fast to install, hence time-saving. They are ideal for dump surfaces because they are moisture-proof, dust-proof, heat and fire-proof - acting as a fire retardant. They are also resistant to acidic and alkaline conditions. They can be fixed according to your desired fashion and design or repainted to a look you fancy. A homeowner can fix the wall panels themselves, if they so wish, but an expert can professionally install them after a timber frame, which is either horizontal or vertical has been added to the wall. However, this is not possible for a normal ceiling. The porous walls can also be treated by fixing PVC wall panels on them,’’ Isabirye said.

According to him, PVC panels are budget-friendly compared to other products on the market in the same pool, because they require no further finishing after installation. The panels require limited care, with a durability span of up to 20 years.
