What could be more fitting for the Ugandan music fraternity than a complete album featuring the late Mowzey Radio?

It has been six years since the maestro passed away, following a bar brawl. Shortly after his death, a gospel song titled Tambula Nange circulated online, showcasing his ability to lend his voice to gospel tracks, resonating well in churches, homes, and other platforms.

Despite the few releases that have emerged, sparking debates about the possibility of additional unreleased songs in various studios, and claims that many producers possess his unreleased music, a new development involving Artificial Intelligence has stirred confusion in the industry.

An AI expert named Eyo Shatta managed to transform Azawi's latest song Masavu into a collaboration with the late Mowzey Radio, leaving fans with several uninformed perceptions and conclusions.

Amid the uncertainty surrounding the Masavu AI version, Julius Kyazze, the CEO of Swangz Avenue, revealed in a recent TV appearance that the label owns a complete gospel album by Mowzey Radio, which they plan to release soon.

Kyazze clarified that the label doesn't have Mowzey's hard drive, but they recorded the album when the late crooner was alive, preserving it ever since.

"We worked on a gospel album with Mowzey Radio and shall release it soon," he said.

Swangz Avenue, one of the country's well-established labels, has played a pivotal role in shaping several big names, including Irene Ntale and Rabadaba.

Addressing speculations that the label primarily works with female artists such as Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, Azawi, and Zafaran, Kyazze pointed out that the label has worked with male artists too, dismissing the notion that they exclusively focus on females.

"If you say we do not work with males then you are a newcomer in the industry. We have worked with Rabadaba and several other males," he clarified.

Responding to queries about their relationship with Irene Ntale, Kyazze hinted that the label maintains contact with Ntale, and they occasionally work with her on some projects where need be.
