At the third edition of the East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards, the spotlight was on singer Acidic Vokoz as he clinched the highly coveted Best Breakthrough Act Award. 

The event, held over the weekend in Nairobi, Kenya, not only celebrated the vibrancy of the arts, but also provided a platform for artistes to be acknowledged for their outstanding contributions.

Among the nominees for the Best Breakthrough Act category, Acidic Vokoz, known for songs such as Last Chance, It's Okay and Nkulinako Crush stood out due to his increasing influence and significant impact on the music landscape in East Africa.
