Since her wedding to her husband, pastor Moses Wasswa Tinsley, in July 2023, secular music singer Vivian Tendo has been off the music scene.

She said marriage came with a lot of responsibilities, including being a 'mother' at her husband’s babies’ home, which could not allow her execute music projects. However, a gospel music project is now in the offing.

Tendo revealed that from childhood, she often dreamt of being a responsible wife to a caring man.

She said she always prayed to have a man who knows his role in a home. Tendo said she used to picture herself taking care of her husband.

Tendo is now living her dream.
Following her marriage, the Hajjati Wa Hajji singer, real name Tendo Vivian Ntubiro dropped her manager, Yesse Oman Rafiki of Route Entertainment, who had been rumoured to be her lover.

Since then, she never got any other management and she has never released any new song project.

During an interview with her on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, she praised her husband.

“I am a well behaved wife. I respect my husband and take good care of him. We both take care of each other and we are not complaining. My husband is very fine. He is busy with his daily duties at the organisation. Since I got married, I have been looking so nice and healthy. I eat food on time and drink a lot of milk, so my body is not complaining. I am enjoying marriage. If I was not enjoying it, I would be having injuries all over my body. Marriage is beautiful. This is the kind of life that I grew up wishing for and I have it now," the 26-year-old said.

She is planning a comeback (in her own time), but this time in gospel music since her husband is a pastor .

Vivian said she is working at her pace.

“I intended to put music on hold. Currently, I am handling a lot things at a go, so I decided to time myself. I have had to put some work and roles aside and first finish some first," she said.

On how a secular artiste married a pastor, Vivian revealed that she comes from a family of Born-again Christians.

“People did not know my real religion, but they came to understand my religion after I got married.  All along that has been my true religion since I was young. My grandparents were all born again. My grandfather and father are pastors. My family has always been asking me to sing a gospel song, so my fans should expect gospel songs and I will release a lot projects,"  Vivian said.
