By 7:00pm, the Kampala Serena Hotel's Victoria Hall was fully packed. The revellers that came later were bounced as there were barely any  seats except for those that had earlier bought tables that were being allowed inside.

At exactly 8:00pm, Ronald Mayinja stepped on stage in a different style from what artistes who organise shows at Serena usually do.

Accompanied by dancers, he came in from the back using one of the doors that revellers entered through and at this moment, the crowd inside Victoria Hall and mostly those that were seated at the back went into frenzy.

Mayinja started off with Nazalibwa Mukazi Mwavu, which set the pace for what would later be an exciting ecening. He went on to sing songs such as Abalina Sente, Mugolokoke and Londa Nze.

It was his Tononooza song that got people off their seats to get near the stage and start giving him money.

Herbalist Maama Phina kickstarted it by giving Mayinja lots of cash that he even told her his hands were full. This was the begining of what was later to come  in form of tips from different people, including politicians and business people.

In all his sets of perfomances, all his pockets were filled with money he collected from the different individuals, not forgetting the other artistes such as Alien Skin, Jose Chameleone, Haruna Mubiru, Mesach Ssemakula, who got themselves some reasonable amount of money from the revellers.

Mayinja had a proper usage of stage in that at all times he was involving the audiences in the different sects of the stage. He also kept on hyping his intrumentalists who themselves played well.

All the perfomances were delivered in high octane form in that even Mayinja's songs, which go slow were sang at a high pace, thereby causing alot of excitment and some kind of warmth within the hall as most of the people were seen dancing to the good music.

The other artistes that perfomed on the night also put on a great show there by living fans excited all night through.

Prime minister Robinah Nabbanja, Minister for Kampala Minsa Kabanda, State Minister for Micro finance Kyeyune Haruna Kasolo and former minister Henry Kiwanda are among the politicians that graced the occasion. These splashed money to the different artistes. Nabbanja handed Mayinja an envelope she called "a big one".

Overall, it was a great show with proper lighting, good stage and perfomances with exceptions of some moments when sound was distorted and at times some speakers failing to put out sound.

This hugely successful show was sponsored by Vision Group's Bukedde TV and organised by KT Events.
