Rapper Dragas Dempa has announced the upcoming release of his new album titled The Odds On Odds. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Uganda, Dempa is currently based in Trondheim, Norway.
"The album is currently in production and will feature collaborations with artists such as Drip Baby L4L, Ytee, and OJ Producer. According to Dempa, the album draws inspiration from his experiences balancing music and education.
Dempa plans to release new music alongside his intentions to return to Uganda, where he aims to contribute to the development of the country’s hip-hop scene. He has expressed concerns that hip-hop culture in Uganda has been underutilised and mismanaged.
With several years of experience in the music industry, Dempa's previous releases include Heavy On Myself (2023), Only Us Forever, and Incoming Call.
His music is available on streaming platforms like Apple Music and Boomplay, showcasing a blend of Swahili, English and Luganda. While a release date for The Odds On Odds has yet to be announced, fans are eagerly anticipating what Dempa has in store.
