Lugogo Cricket Oval will transform into an atmosphere of music, culture and community as Blankets and Wines marks its 30th edition on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
The event, known for seamlessly blending lifestyle and entertainment, promises an unforgettable experience headlined by the Jamaican dancehall sensation, Konshens real name Garfield Delano Spence.
Konshens expressed his excitement about the upcoming show during a media interaction at Arcadia Suites, Mulago in Kampala.
"I promise an amazing and great show. Ugandans can expect to leave with lasting memories after Sunday's performance," he declared.
The assistant superintendent of Police, Luke Owoyesigyire, today, December 15, further assured the public that security measures are in place to ensure the safety of all attendees.
"We are committed to making sure everyone coming for Blankets and Wines is safe, and we will provide security as they move around different parts of Kampala," he stated during a press conference.

He noted that security agencies will be deployed to divert traffic at certain points around the cricket oval.
Owoyesigyire called upon Ugandans to follow event and security guidelines.
This edition of Blankets and Wine, sponsored by New Vision, promises to be no exception, with a lineup of diverse artistes set to take the stage, including Elijah Kitaka, Likkle Bangi, Lucass Blacc, CEEE, Kampire, and DJs such as DJ FEM and DJ Bugy.
The atmosphere of togetherness, synonymous with Blankets and Wines, will be palpable as the crowd immerses itself in live music, art, and fashion.
