In a surprising yet refreshing initiative, Pastor Wilson Bugembe of Worship House, located in Nansana, Wakiso District, recently hosted a TikTok-themed dinner aimed at educating youths on the responsible use of social media.
The event, held at Bugembe’s residence in Busabala, brought together a number of young TikTok influencers for an evening of praise, worship, food, live performances, and panel discussions.
The focus was on how platforms like TikTok can be used to promote kindness, faith, fame, online safety, and good mental health.

According to Pastor Bugembe, a member of his church had approached him with a plea to support individuals suffering from depression and stress caused by the content they consume on TikTok and other social media platforms.
“Priscy K asked me to help TikTokers facing cyberbullying. I once found TikToker Yvonne Nakankaka in tears due to online abuse. That’s why it’s important to meet these victims, to discuss online etiquette, handling negativity, spreading positive messages, and protecting mental health in the digital space,” he explained.
