Kampala’s hospitality sector received a boost recently with the official launch of NOON Hotel Apartments, a new upscale accommodation facility located in Kitante Close.
The property was officially opened by Susan Muhwezi, Chairperson of the Uganda Hotel Owners Association and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at the Uganda Tourism Board.
She commended the developers for investing in quality hospitality infrastructure at a time when Uganda is positioning itself as a competitive tourism destination.
In her remarks, Muhwezi emphasised the importance of raising accommodation standards to match the country’s tourism ambitions.
“Every new facility that meets international standards strengthens Uganda’s tourism value chain,” she said. “Quality hospitality services are key in attracting both leisure and business travelers, and developments like this contribute significantly to promoting Kampala as a preferred destination.”
NOON Hotel Apartments comprises 20 units, including one- and two-bedroom apartments designed to cater to both short- and long-term stays. Its location places it within close proximity to the Uganda Museum, diplomatic missions, hospitals, schools and commercial centres.
Guests attending the launch were treated to a fine lunch featuring a variety of local and international dishes, fresh fruits, assorted juices and an array of snacks. The event drew stakeholders from the tourism and hospitality sectors and business leaders who toured the facility and interacted over a relaxed afternoon reception. Soft lighting, curated décor, and the promise of premium service painted a picture of urban elegance.
The property also boasts a scenic view of Kampala’s skyline, offering a sweeping outlook of the city.
