Kyambogo University’s XFM Hostel Bash blends fun, music, and mentorship

As Kyambogo University hosted the XFM Hostel Bash at Servite Hostel Kyambogo University, students came together for a fun-filled evening. It was an event that blended entertainment and mentorship.

 
The bash, organised in partnership with XFM, featured thrilling performances by popular X FM DJs including Adam Vibes, Ali Breezy and Denzel UG, who kept the crowd energised with great mixes and engaging sessions.

 

Students also enjoyed a variety of activities, including live football screenings, virtual games, and PS4 tournaments, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere where sports fans and gamers could cheer, compete and socialize with fellow students.

The event’s main sponsors Bell Citrus, Bell Honey, Black Audio Gadgets, and Naguru Teenager Center played a crucial role in making the day a success. Beyond the entertainment, the Naguru Teenager Center offered vital counselling, mentorship, wellness services and free health check-ups, promoting both physical and mental well-being among students.

 
 Speaking during the event, organisers praised the initiative as an important platform for student engagement, health awareness and community building within and beyond the university.

“The Hostel Bash is not just about fun; it’s about creating a safe and interactive environment for students to learn, unwind and access helpful services,” said Christine a Student from Kyambogo University.

 
The second Hostel Bash marks another milestone in Kyambogo University’s ongoing efforts to promote holistic student life combining entertainment, education, wellness, and social impact.
