Kim Swagga excited to see daughter after eight years

Kim Kibirige, also known as Kim Swagga, the celebrity stylist, is going to meet his daughter after eight years of searching for her. The mother of the daughter, Bad Black, had sworn that Swagga would never meet eye-to-eye with the daughter.

However, the notorious celebrity has set conditions for her baby daddy to see their daughter.

“I am extremely happy that I am going to see her. Bad Black was only cautious and protecting her child from possible harm. Like any mother, she would not easily agree to a man's requests without first investigating how and where the child would stay and with whom,” says Kim Swagga. In an exclusive interview, he also said that he was open to reconnecting with Bad Black.

Following a long-standing dispute over the custody of their daughter Davina, socialite Bad Black (Shanita Namuyimbwa) and Kim Swagga have finally agreed to co-parent. Bad Black revealed that she is allowing her baby daddy back into Davina’s life after he explained his plans for her.

She has now permitted Kibirige to access his daughter anytime he wants, provided he takes on the responsibilities of being a good father and ensures he provides for her basic needs.

The celebrity couple fell apart shortly after their daughter’s birth, with Bad Black alleging that Kim Swagga had failed to fulfill the fatherly responsibilities she expected of him. Swagga, however, responded and said that he took good care of the girl and always provided what he could manage. However, Bad Black always asked for a lot of money, he said.

In April, Swagga kicked off a media campaign to see his daughter. He clarified that he now had the means to take care of the child.

As we were talking, Black posted on her social media via X (formerly Twitter), stating that she accepted Kim's request to visit and have access to his daughter as he wished.

In a phone interview on Monday (July 1, 2024), Bad Black clarified the conditions given to Kibirige.  

Bad Black warns

"Someone tell Daddy Davina musonyiye (I have forgiven him), but he should never do it again. He should reflect the father image because the child is now old enough to understand family matters. She will judge him and develop hatred, which is not a good thing. Having heard his cries all over Bukedde TV requesting to see our daughter, I have allowed him to start interacting with his daughter. Dear Kibirige and all concerned relatives of Kim’s family, I am here to let you know that I have allowed you to take your daughter and stay with her as you want, starting with these (school) holidays,” she explained.

“However, if Kim Swagga ever shows signs of negligence in taking care of our 12-year-old, he will never see her again,” Black cautioned.

Kim Swagga, having heard the good news he had been praying and crying for to have his kid back, was so excited during a phone interview on July 1st, 2024, that he could not talk much. However, he managed to confirm his happiness at being able to access his daughter again.
