After a whole year of academic toil, Vision Group, through the Toto Christmas Festival, has given children a chance to unwind and relax.
Slated for December 07, at Kampala Parents School Playground, the children will do what children do: play and have fun!
During the festival activations in schools, the editor of Toto Magazine happily visits and invites children to the festival.
“We have a children’s party; it is the Toto Christmas Festival at only sh10, 000 for children. You will enjoy swimming, bouncing castles, merry-go-rounds and lots of other things to play with,” Grace Nampiima, the Toto Magazine editor, said.
She was addressing children at Kampala Model Primary School in Kyebando, whom she advised “to come dressed to play and pack a swimsuit for those who wish to swim.”
Nampiima also urged them, saying: “Tell your parents to come with some money to buy for you something to eat. There will be lots to eat: chips and chicken, cotton candy, ice cream and even noodles.”
In order to pull off the event, Vision Group has team up with sponsors, who include: Pepsi, Toyota Uganda, Indomie Instant Noodles, Ruparelia Group and SUMZ.
All the sponsors have one underlying thread that weaves them together with Vision Group: their commitment to children. Owing to their commitment, the sponsors have generously contributed to the success of the festival.
Indomie Instant Noodles, for instance, has been moving around schools with the Toto team, giving children noodles and will also be present at the festival.
Toyota Uganda has given the little ones a chance to participate in the global competition, where the winner gets $ 5000 (about sh 18m), the runners-up get $ 3000 (sh 10.8m), and their schools will win $ 10, 000 (approximately sh 36m).
Pepsi will also be at the festival to provide children with their favourite soft drinks and its varieties (Mirinda Apple, Fruity and Apple, Mountain Dew and 7Up).
The Ruparelia Group has also generously provided a safe space for the festival at Kampala Parents School Playground.
SUMZ, which makes tasty snacks such as potato and plantain (gonja) crisps, plantain (gonja), gnuts and baggia, among others, will also be at the festival with its array of goodies.
At an affordable entrance fee of sh10, 000 for children, with free entrance for adults, the little ones will have a field day of fun at Kampala Parents School Playground on 7th December.
