Joshua Baraka nominated in Trace Awards 2025

Joshua Baraka’s has hit another milestone. He has been nominated for the prestigious Trace Awards and Summit 2025. He has been nominated in the Best Artist Eastern Africa category.

The Trace Awards and Summit 2025, set to take place from February 24–26 at Mora Zanzibar Resort, is a major platform celebrating African creativity and talent on a global scale. 

As part of the event, the Trace Awards City Tour will bring live performances and fan engagement sessions to major cities, including Kampala. 

This initiative allows artists like Baraka to connect more intimately with their supporters while showcasing the richness of African music.

With this recognition, Baraka continues to carry Uganda’s flag high, inspiring a new generation of musicians to aim for international success. 

As the awards draw closer, fans have the opportunity to support him by voting, further strengthening Uganda’s presence on the global stage.

His blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and Ugandan influences has earned him a dedicated following both locally and internationally. Hits like Nana, Dalilah, and DIGII IV have dominated various charts.
