Good things come to those who wait patiently. 2026 should be a very good year for jazz in Uganda, especially for the fans of Isaiah Katumwa.
The musician revealed that he is putting final touches to an album he will launch next year. This was during a concert he held at Skyz Hotel in Kampala last week.
It was during the same concert that he introduced his new manager, Elizabeth Kyomugisha Mushabe.

By 9pm, Katumwa was already up on the stage playing to the applause of many present, with some noticeably seen off their seats dancing to particular songs.
"After 30 years, I feel like it’s just about time I changed a thing or two about my music, and I am now taking a journey of faith. I hope the next 30 years will also be worth celebrating," Katumwa hinted about his 2026 album.
Kyomugisha said that she was looking forward to working with Katumwa, as she has lots of material and talent to do great things.
