Celebrated singer Irene Ntale Nasuuna officially introduced her fiancé, Vincent Kalibbala, to her parents in a dazzling ceremony held last Friday in Kulambiro, Kampala.
The elegant affair served as a prelude to their upcoming church wedding, scheduled for October 17, 2025, at Rubaga Cathedral.

The event was graced by royalty, with Prince David Wasajja of Buganda and his wife Marion Nankya in attendance, adding a regal touch to the intimate gathering of close family and friends. Gatecrashers, however, were politely turned away to preserve the exclusivity of the occasion.
The décor was nothing short of stunning, with every table adorned with five handheld fans to keep guests cool and comfortable throughout the afternoon.

Ntale made her grand entrance at 3 p.m., dressed in a radiant gold gomesi. Interestingly, she chose not to walk in to one of her own hits, but instead to King Saha’s romantic ballad Omukwano gwo Gundeze.
Prince Wasajja took a moment to commend Ntale’s parents for raising a grounded and talented daughter.

He encouraged Kalibbala, an auditor by profession, to support Ntale’s musical career rather than restrict it. “My wife was also worried that I wouldn’t allow her to work after marriage, but I’ve supported her ever since,” he shared.

The celebration was further lit up by a performance from fellow singer Winnie Nwagi, who playfully hugged Ntale, joking that she wanted to “tap the blessings of marriage.”
With love, laughter, and music filling the air, the couple now looks ahead to their big day at Rubaga Cathedral, where they will officially tie the knot.
