I am single and ready to mingle - Coco Finger

Singer Coco Finger has debunked speculations by his former manager Roland, who claimed on Bukedde TV2's Vibe Mix show that a slightly older woman had secretly married him and got him a fully furnished beach house, which allegedly led to his musical absence.

In an interview on Sunday, June 30, 2024, the My Miss singer set the record straight, stating that he is single, and highlighted his various sources of income.

Coco, also known as Moses Okori, said he earns money from being a brand ambassador for corporate companies and collaborating with humanitarian organisations advocating for girls' education and rights in northern Uganda. 

"People should know that I don’t get support from anyone; I have done everything for myself through my own sweat and hard work. Those spreading rumours about a certain beach house should show it to me, then we can discuss further. I have many sources of income. I am a real musician and a great performer, and I am always booked and well-paid for my performances since I am the stage king. I am relevant in music. Just this past weekend, I was busy with shows at Bruno’s in Ntinda, in Jinja, Busiika, Masaka, and Ajumani. On May 24, 2024, I travelled out of the country for foreign shows, in Dubai. If I can get five shows in a week, it means I am not bad musically. I still drive my Range Rover Hybrid, and my BMW is also still around. All my children are in good schools, where I pay their fees myself. They get everything they need on time and do not lack anything. I am not renting; I am in my own house, which I constructed myself after buying my own land. Roland should talk about what he knows well next time," Coco said.

Additionally, he said he deals in coffee wholesale and owns a bar, Coco Bar and Lodge, in northern Uganda.

Coco stated that he earns over sh20m a month from all his deals, which is enough for him and his family. He emphasised that he is not a struggling artiste, having planned for his future knowing that musical fame would not last forever. Coco said he releases music at his own pace, feeling he has experienced all there is in the music industry. 

Coco also confirmed his ongoing presence in the music industry.  He expressed his commitment to returning to the studio soon to work on new music for his fans.

He added that he is single and invited potential women to aproach him.

"At the moment, I have no wife. I’m single and searching for a beautiful woman to become my sweetheart. She should have a sense of humility since my mother taught me from a young age that humility is the way to any man’s heart. She should be confident, sexy, intelligent, honest, loving, playful, ambitious, selfless, patient, and loyal. If you are out there and match my qualities, please look for me," Coco said.

Despite the break from releasing music, Coco assured fans that he remains active in the music scene, with upcoming show bookings keeping him in the spotlight.
