Those were the opening remarks made by guest artiste singer Levixone as he took the stage to entertain revellers at the Bakiga Nation Rukundo Egumeho event at Lugogo Grounds (former Zoe Grounds) on December 2, 2023.
The singer entertained revellers with songs such as Turn The Replay, Mbeera, Enjoy Your Blessings and Chikibombe.

Other musicians such as Snazz Moses, Fact Zamani performed and got revellers on their feet.
Kanyoza Cultural Dancing Troupe entertained revellers with traditional dances, including Ekizino.
Revellers also had a chance to take part in different activities such as drumming, singing and whistling. Traditional artefacts such as pots, drums, stools, arrows and baskets were staged at the entrance. This excited revellers as many were seen taking pictures next to them.
Traditional drinks such as obushera was also sold in gourds.
This marked the 12th edition of the Bakiga Nation, an event that brings together Bakiga living in Kampala. Hundreds of people from different parts of the country turned up to celebrate culture and also connect with their roots.
To attend, online tickets went for sh15,000 whereas a ticket at the gate was sh20,000. Gates were open at by midday at and by 11:00pm, the event concluded.
The Bakiga Nation organisers revealed that the next event will target tribes from the northern, eastern, western and southern parts of Uganda.
