The Homes and Construction Expo 2023 that Vision Group organised for homes lovers, construction enthusiasts and real estate developers and dealers was a beautiful treat for housing designers and those interested in investing in real estate or buying beautiful homes.

The event had great offers for home ownership, especially in as far as condominium apartments are concerned. As opposed to the past, there are now higher chances of living in a serene environment at affordable prices in Kampala.

Joan Adongo, the sales manager at Novus Real Estate company who exhibited at the expo, says they offer luxurious living places in Kampala, where a family or an individual staying in an apartment can have a duplex apartment with a 360 all-round view of the hills of the city.

Their facilities have other amenities like a swimming pool, a spacious kids’ play area and 24/7 security.

“These apartments are available to all interested buyers both from in and outside Uganda,” she said.

Meanwhile, Privah Atuhereza, the sales executive at Universal Multi-Purpose Enterprises Ltd also says they have a duplex facility where a tenant can have a living room, kitchen, and washroom on one floor and bedroom on the upper floor within the same building.

“You don’t have to move out of your apartment to access the next floor, but the duplex is constructed within the same building and is connected by a staircase,” she said.

Atuhereza added that the Homes & Construction Expo 23 that took place at the Kololo Independence Grounds over the weekend has given them mileage and opportunities for their new properties which they have unveiled to the public.

“Our properties are of high quality and standards and our clients will not be disappointed,” she said.

At the expo, attendees stood the chance to get a ready land title from ABJA Estates. Mark Maiga, the marketing and communication manager, says they think about low-income earner, but who can also afford decent housing options that are available in a given period of time.

“We have come up with low-cost plans where people can easily afford homes, amidst the high demand for housing in Uganda,” he says, adding that ABJA Estates can construct affordable houses for all Ugandans.

Hajara Muwonge, from Kawanda, who attended the expo expressed satisfaction at the nature and number of exhibitors who showcased their services.

“I have been surprised about the solar water pumps. It is my first time at this kind of expo, but I have learnt a lot. I realised that our local builders have been cheating me, but with these contacts of experts that I have got, it will not happen again. I thank Vision Group for organising event,” she said.

Another expo attendee, Brenda Oshabbe from Mengo also thanked Vision Group for bringing together trustworthy experts.

“I did not know where to find experts like architects and dealers in quality doors. I even got the contact of a land surveyor. This is a good beginning, please, keep it up.”
