At Garden City rooftop, Kampala, on May 25, the Jameson and Friends do returned in its third edition of the year dubbed All-denim Affair.
For fashion enthusiasts, the show was not just about music and drinks, it was much to do with how they pulled off that perfect denim look better than anyone.
The show is always one for the young and hip, which spelled a lot about how they stop at nothing to look stunning.
In fact, the pair or revellers with the best denim outfit walked away with an assortment of prizes from the organisers.
The day-into-night event kicked off at 4:00pm, with piano music controlling the bigger part of the evening's playlists.
From Jameson cocktails to meat platters that kept flying over and about, teasing taste buds of many, the start was enough to promise a thrilling night.
The earliest of revellers had enough time to enjoy an array of indoor games such as matatu, foosball, jenga, mini-golf, pool table, FIFA, among others.
Organised and produced by Talent Africa, the event's lookout paid attention to glitz, pomp and colour, with wood-brown pallets blending in well with the green carpets.
The sitting arrangement, as has always been the norm, was one of a picnic look and feel, never mind that the same arrangement would be abandoned, later in the night, when revellers could not fight the urge to get up and dance.
For Manchester United fans, this was not just another edition of Jameson and Friends, it was an afterparty, following their FA Cup triumph over rivals Manchester City.
This victory, then, set perfect ground for the highly billed lineup of DJs and Mcees to take the night away. But first, Julius Sese, Bowman Aremwaki, professor Joewi and the black wave sound band took to stage to get the party started. With a variety of music played, they left no revelers on the ground.
These would be followed by DJs Kasbaby, Vanss, Selecta Jeff, and Dj Tony, who played everything and anything from piano, afrobeats, house music, EDM and HipHop, keeping everyone on their feet. Viana Indi and Adele Kiele once again proved to be the perfect pair as Mcees for the do and age.
After the event, it did not matter when everyone wound up the night from, they had been treated to a good weekender.
