Schwarz also denied claims that they have sided with Bobi Wine to frustrate Omutujju, but revealed that Bobi Wine sought permission from them to redo Dippo Nazzigala and also went back later to give them a few millions for upkeep.

Following media streaming platform YouTube’s removal of rapper Gravity Omutujju’s Doboozi Lya Mutuuze song in response to a copyright claim raised by singer Bobi Wine, the late singer Paul Kafeero’s estate also threatened to take down his version of Walumbe Zaaya.

Schwarz Kafeero, Paul Kafeero's son,  who raised the alarm, reasoned that Omutujju’s latest escapades don’t go down well with their family values.

Speaking to Urban Television this week, he said as a family, they had decided to take down the song off all online platforms so as not to be associated with the rapper anymore.

However, just minutes after putting up a public social media post threatening to take down the song, Schwarz accused the rapper of vulgarising it without seeking permission. Omutujju moved fast to remove it himself.

“I had just put up the post, before even putting down the phone, he had already removed it himself,” said Schwarz.

He also denied claims that they have sided with Bobi Wine to frustrate Omutujju, but revealed that Bobi Wine sought permission from them to redo Dippo Nazzigala and also went back later to give them a few millions for upkeep.

"No, we aren’t fighting for Bobi Wine. He took the initiative to come here, and even gave us money. He was already a star. Some of you have just known Bobi Wine. We lived in Lweza eating pancakes, he gave us sh3m that we used to buy breakfast (in school) for a while,” said Schwarz.

Omutujju started taunting Bobi Wine weeks ago, suggesting he gives up part of his land in Busabala for the construction of a hospital.

Shortly a copyright claim was raised over his Doboozi Lya Mutuuze song that sampled Kiwaani.

In response, Omutujju accused Bobi Wine of also sampling other people’s songs, and awfully at that. He mentioned Dippo Nazzigala as a terrible job by Bobi Wine.
