Gloria Bugie goes to the ghetto

Gloria Bugie, the crooner recently in a media frenzy for all the wrong reasons, has recently revealed more than bare skin.

The singer, in the middle of a nudes scandal, on Sunday took her birthday celebration to the least expected, a ghetto in Nalukolongo, a Kampala suburb. During her visit, she donated scholastic items to school-going children. She also donated food and other items to the needy in the community. 

Gloria Bugie said she has been doing it for her previous birthdays but away from the media cameras. "I decided to go all out in the media so that I can inspire others to help the needy," she said.

“To those that trash food, think of other people in slums who go two days without a meal. I urge all people to adopt the idea of helping those in need,” said Gloria Bugie. On a lighter moment, she claimed she was celebrating her 20^th birthday and she will continue celebrating it for many years.

There could be something special with September babies this year. On September 1, Bebe Cool celebrated his birthday with a disabled mother in Mukono. Apart from donating household items to her family, he also helped her with house chores.
