Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba's birthday party on Saturday at Lugogo Cricket Oval is open to the general public, according to the organiser, Team Chairman led by Muhoozi's uncle, Michael Nuwagira alias Toyota.
Speaking to the press on Thursday at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Toyota said everyone in the country is free to attend Gen. Muhoozi's 48th birthday party with or without an invitation card.

"Invitation cards are some of the tools we are using to call people to attend. We are also using announcements on radios, television, and word of mouth. This party is not for only those with cards. Everybody is invited," Toyota said.
"This is not a political function, it's purely a social function. We have entertainment and it's basically celebrating a birthday. It's not about politics, religion, and colours. It's purely entertainment and celebrations for the birthday of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. So I welcome you all and invite everybody. Those who can, let's join and celebrate the birthday of Gen. Muhoozi.

"We shall have a cake, fireworks, entertainment, drinks, eats. Entrance is free, and everything is catered for by Team Chairman. I want to thank my team for organising this, and we are set for the celebrations."
Preparations are in high gear
Legendary Ugandan musicians Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool are set to perform at the birthday party alongside Rwandan traditional singer Intore Massamba.
Members of Parliament, Ministers, and socialites are expected to be in attendance.
