“Where have I been? What happened to me? Well, for the past two years, I’ve been in South Korea, immersing myself in my master’s degree journey. ‘Oh, Korea? You must speak Korean now!’ ‘So, what’s next?’ My heart is set on serving my beautiful country Uganda,” she wrote.

Former Miss Uganda, Quiin Abenakyo is over the moon following her academic milestone from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

The former beauty queen who has been out of Kampala’s social life for two years resurfaced with answers to questions her followers have been asking online, draped in graduation gown to illustrate the reason for her conspicuous absence.

And she emphasized that she is set on deploying all the skills she has learnt in serving her country, Uganda.

The former beauty queen has been awarded a Master’s degree.

“Where have I been? What happened to me? Well, for the past two years, I’ve been in South Korea, immersing myself in my master’s degree journey. ‘Oh, Korea? You must speak Korean now!’ ‘So, what’s next?’ My heart is set on serving my beautiful country Uganda,” she wrote.

“Celebrating a pivotal milestone: My master’s degree. Thank you to all who’ve been part of this incredible journey. Thank you so much KAIST Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation (GDI) for this Opportunity Iam eternally grateful,” she added.

Abenkayo completed her undergraduate studies at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Computing.

She was crowned Miss Uganda in 2018 beating 21 other contestants, and was Crowned Miss World Africa the same year.
