BET Award winner and Grammy nominee singer Eddy Kenzo has revealed why he was a no-show at his baby mama, Rema Namakula’s Melodies of Love concert at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, despite appealing to his fans to show up for it.
The Semyekozo singer said he decided not to attend the concert because of the risk of becoming the centre of attention instead of the main act.
“I think twice before I act. I don’t think it would have made sense if I went there physically and caused media ruckus with all the cameras on me,” he told a local media.
Kenzo also observed that he was going to become the highlight, and not the performances post-concert yet Rema invested a lot in it.
“They (media) were going to talk about me the following day and relate whatever was at the concert with Kenzo... I don’t know if I miscalculated, but my spirit is pure,” he added.
Rema's husband, Dr Hamza Sebunya, added the concert.
