Bukedde DJ Shiru braved the rain to ensure his fans get the very best of his mixes at the Mega Shirumatic Experience at Climax Hub Bar, Makindye.
Sunday night, November 26, saw it rain in most parts of Kampala in phases, thereby disrupting much of the preparations of the different musical shows within the city.
The rains didn’t spare Shiru. At 2:00am when he came on stage, the weather seemed to have cleared, but about 15 minutes into the show, it rained again. It necessitated that the organisers find a solution to ensure the show goes one.

At first, they brought out a flag to cover Shiru and his DJ deck. However, this wasn’t good enough to prevent the water from sipping through until the organisers got an umbrella and a placard and covered him.
Shiru played his mixes for nearly two hours till 4:00pm when the rains increased, causing him to close off and move into the closed-off area, where he played for about 20 minutes and then called it off, leaving other DJs to play.
Jose Chameleone was among the artistes that sang during the rains although his performance didn’t last long as he couldn’t bear it.
Other artistes, including Lydia Jazmine, John Blaq, Feffe Bussi, Green Daddy and Gasha Mutoni also entertained the revellers.
