DJ Roja denies splitting with Slick Stuart

Rogers Kitaka alias Deejay Roja has come out on the ongoing rumor of splitting with Stuart Kavuma alias Dj Slickstuart.

The two have for over 10 years worked under the brand Slickstuart and Roja that they created when they joined the music industry. As a duo, they have gone ahead and held several successful mix tape parties and became a household name. 

It was until this year that rumors of splitting started making rounds but neither Stuart nor Roja has come out to clear the air. Roja came out recently in an interview and for the first time talked about rumors saying he also doesn’t know about the splitting but whoever is behind spreading the rumor well knows the reason why they are fueling the allegations.

According to Roja, the brand has been intact for all the years of working together and it was just because they didn’t announce this year’s Mixtape party which is one of the reasons the rumors are being circulated. “We decided not to do this year’s Mixtape party and it will happen next year” Roja said.

He went on and said that the reason is that they are using this year as agreed among themselves to work out some of their individual projects like currently, Roja says he is working on his businesses together with managing singer Jowy Landa’s musical career under his 7Star Management and at the same time, Slickstuart is also attending to some of his projects and engagements.

The duo apart from playing together on the same set in the same time interval, they have also worked on different musical collaborations with top Ugandan singers like Ykee Benda, Jose Chameleone, Winnie Nwagi, Beenie Gunter and Nutty Neithan among others.
