Dj Lynda Ddane opens up about relationship with Kas Baby

Kampala’s entertainment scene is serving a love story that fans can’t seem to get enough of. Media personality and DJ Lynda Ddane has finally opened up about her relationship with fellow DJ DJ Kas Baby, giving fans a glimpse into their bond, future plans and how it all started.

After months of speculation, the couple made their relationship public last year, frequently appearing together at events and on social media. At one point, Lynda was even seen flaunting what looked like an engagement ring, further fueling conversations about how serious things had become.

And in true Lynda fashion, she didn’t hold back when asked about how the relationship began.

“Yes, I did it,” she said with a laugh when asked if she made the first move. “If you want something, go for it.”

Speaking during a recent interview, Lynda shared intimate details about their romance while she and Kas Baby, alongside MC Timothy Code and fashion creative Azarya, were unveiled as new Johnnie Walker cultural influencers, popularly known as “Walkers.” The unveiling doubled as both a celebration of Kampala’s creative scene and a moment for Lynda to confidently speak about love.

She added that sometimes love is about intention and energy, revealing her belief in manifestation when it comes to relationships. “I am doing a lot of manifesting. If you want a person to be your boyfriend, they will be your boyfriend. If you want them to be your man, they will be your man,” she said.

Beyond the playful confidence, Lynda described Kas Baby as a calm and grounded partner qualities that drew her in. “I love the fact that he is humble and so adorable,” she shared, adding that his personality gives her a sense of security.

In fact, she believes their bond is solid enough to withstand outside pressure. “No woman can snatch him from me,” she said confidently. “He is shy when he sees other women and he puts boundaries.”

Their relationship, she explained, is also built on respect and structure. At home, Lynda says Kas Baby takes on a leadership role. “He is the man, so he makes decisions. In case of anything, I consult him,” she noted.

Looking ahead, the DJ is not shy about her dreams of starting a family. Speaking candidly about motherhood, Lynda revealed she is ready for that next chapter. “I would love to welcome a baby out of happiness, and right now I am really happy,” she said. “I cannot wait for that day to come and see how it goes the experience.”

She even joked about how she imagines her pregnancy journey, saying she expects to stay active throughout. “People have different belly sizes while pregnant, but I believe I will work till the last day,” she added.

“I cannot wait for the day the pregnancy comes, and when it does, I will engage you,” she said with a smile, hinting that fans will be part of that journey when the time comes.
