At English reggae star Ali Campbell's concert yesterday, March 2, at Kololo Independence grounds, politicians led by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa, left their suits and ties at home, and turned up looking causally suave for a memorable party.

The group included Otuke County MP Paul Omara, Sheema Municipality MP Dickson Kateshumbwa, Kitgum Woman MP Lillian Aber, Foreign Affairs State Minister Henry Okello Oryem, and Sports Minister Peter Ogwang.

From the time Bebe Cool stepped on stage, Tayebwa's body went into rhythmic movement, starting with the head. Love You Everyday seemed to be his favourite. With a smile, in the company of his wife, he attempted to sing along.

The rest of the politicians were buried in small chit-chat as local acts performed, but when Campbell and his band took to stage with The Way You Do the Things You Do, they forgot whatever they were chatting about. That classic Campbell voice could not let them stay sitting.

Minister Oryem sang along to almost all the hit songs performed by Campbell. He had a time of his life.

If any of the mentioned parliamentarians are your MP, be sure that they represented you quite well on the dancefloor.
