Singer Jose Chameleone is fluent in many languages but hardly says sorry in any of them. Close friends reveal that he is so adamant about apologizing, when he says sorry, it is usually out of pride.
However, on Tuesday, the singer penned a heart-felt apology to DJ Bryan and the management of Guvnor night club, ending a ban that had spanned six years.
It should be recalled that six years ago, Chameleone was engaged in a fist fight with the Club’s DJ Bryan. Chameleone, who was at the time planning for a musical experience at the Industrial Area based club had it cancelled.
The club issued a statement banning the singer and his crew indefinitely. Now in his mid-40’s and a little wiser, he has chosen the conciliatory path.
In a post on his various social media platforms last evening, Chameleone revealed that they have reconciled with DJ Bryan.
“We may not change the past, but we can change the future.” Six years ago, while at Club Guvnor, we got involved in a misunderstanding with DJ Bryan, which came with repercussions,” He wrote.
He further apologized before disclosing that he will back at Guvnor on July 29.
“I would also like to further extend my sincere regret in the incident to Lubega Charles and the entire Club Guvnor management.
After 6 years, on July 29, I will return to Club Guvnor in a show that will feature Afrigo Band in a rekindled relationship with the club. I call upon you all to come to witness the joy of reunion,” he said
